Palestinian prisoners in Israeli occupation jails have addressed a message to Turkish premier Recep Erdogan asking for his personal intervention to support their cause.

Dr. Yousef Rezka, political advisor to Palestinian premier Ismail Haneyya, said on Monday that Haneyya recently handed the message to a visiting Turkish delegation, adding that the prisoners asked for Turkish pressures on Israel to release them.

Rezka said that Haneyya government was closely following up the issue of the hunger strikers and was having contacts with the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and sisterly and friendly countries to internationalize the issue of those prisoners and to establish an international pressure lobby championing their demands.
