Palestinian locals in Qufin village, north of Tulkarem, have charged Jewish settlers with setting dozens of cultivated dunums on fire in the village.
The Palestinian civil defense brigades in Tulkarem said in a press release on Tuesday that firefighters rushed to the site of the fire not far from Homesh settlement where the blaze was destroying hundreds of dunums of olive and forest trees.
The director of the brigades in Tulkarem appealed to the Red Cross and the liaison office to bridle the settlers’ attacks that occur under the very eyes of the Israeli occupation forces.
