General Administration of Civil Affairs at Ministry of Interior and National Security has extended the period of replacement of red identities until the end of September.
The Civil Affairs said in a statement on Wednesday "in conformity with the announcement issued by the General Administration of Civil Affairs in the Ministry of Interior regarding the replacement of red identity red identity green, which expires on (31/05/2012), announces to the citizens who did not have the date to go to the offices of the Ministry of Interior in all governorates to change their identities have been extended to replace the old red identity until Sunday (30/09/2012). "
It extended the period to enable all citizens to apply for renewal and correction of erroneous data, and provide an opportunity for visitors in the Palestinian territories during the summer to change their identities.
The General Directorate of Civil Status hoped commitment to replace the red identity of citizens to green identity during this period.
