250 Palestinians including 35 children arrested last month

More than 250 Palestinians, including 35 children, five women, and two ex-prisoners liberated under "Wafa Al-Ahrar" exchange deal, were arrested by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in the past month of May, revealed the researcher specialized in prisoners’ affairs Riad Ashkar.

Ashkar stated in a report on Saturday that IOF soldiers detained seven citizens from Gaza including five fishermen, who were arrested while fishing off the coast of the enclave, while the others were rounded up in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.

He also pointed out that the children arrested by the IOF during the last month were under the age of 18 and included four from Jerusalem, stating that the youngest,  Najati Kawas, was 14 years old.
