Italian solidarity convoy arrived on Wednesday evening to the Gaza Strip through the Rafah crossing.
The Italian convoy consists of 23 activists from the Arab and western communities in Italy, , and the convoy headed by Mohammed Hanoun.
The Italian convoy was received at the Rafah crossing by many characters and officials, including the Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs Saleh Reqeb and Minister of Social Affairs Ahmed Kurd, who appreciated their efforts in serving and supporting the Palestinian people.
He welcomed the two ministers in favor of both cervical and Kurdish delegation convoy in the Gaza Strip, their appraisers in the permanent service and advocacy for the Palestinian people.
Hanoun confirmed that the delegation's visit to the Gaza Strip, that will continue for five days, is to show solidarity with the Palestinians and to attend a mass wedding ceremony for grooms with special needs, which will be held on Thursday.
