A number of Palestinians and foreign activists were hurt on Saturday in the Israeli occupation forces’ violent crackdown on their peaceful anti-settlement march in Beit Ummar village, to the north of Al-Khalil.

Yousef Abu Mariya, the coordinator of the popular committee in the village, told the PIC that IOF soldiers attacked the demonstrators and beat them up.

He said that the IOF soldiers closed off the area and declared it a closed military zone.

The march was organized near the Karmi Tzur settlement, which was built on the village’s land.
