Sheikh Al-Khatib deplores Israeli claims about Al-Aqsa Mosque

Deputy head of the Islamic Movement in the 1948 occupied lands Sheikh Kamal Al-Khatib strongly denounced the legal advisor of the Israeli government Judea Feinstein for claiming that the Aqsa Mosque is part of Israel's land.

In a press release, Sheikh Khatib affirmed that Feinstein's remarks vindicated further that the Zionist legislative, executive and judicial enterprises have one goal and are driven by the same motive which is the Judaization of Jerusalem.

The Islamic figure added that these remarks emphasized what the Israeli municipal council had claimed earlier that the courtyard of the Aqsa Mosque is for public use and not part of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of Rock.

He warned that the Israeli regime is taking advantage nowadays of the Arab and Muslim nations' preoccupation with the changes taking place in the region.
