Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs in Gaza Dr. Saleh Al-Reqeb has urgently appealed Dr. Mohamed Morsi, president of Egypt, to take immediate actions to improve the treatment of the Egyptian authorities for Palestinian pilgrims at the Cairo airport during their departure and return home to and from Saudi Arabia.
Al-Reqeb also appealed the President Morsi to immediately intervene to put an end to insult and ill-treatment of Palestinians in the Cairo International Airport, and he said: "I ask Dr. Morsi to intervene to put an end to the policy of deportation that acted by the Egyptian authorities with travelers of the Gaza Strip. "
The Minister of Awqaf hoped that the Egyptian president responds to this appeal and issue instructions for the concerned authorities to solve these problems which experienced by the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
