Dr. Osama Al- Issawi, The Minister of Transport and Communications ,has confirmed that the amount of introduced fuel into the Gaza Strip enough only the daily needs of citizens, assured all citizens that the quantities regularity enter Gaza strip where 350 thousand liters of gasoline and 400 thousand liters of diesel fuel enter on a daily basis.
He explained that the keep of fuel by drivers and traders is the cause of the crisis in the lack of diesel fuel in gas stations, so Al-Issawi called all citizens not to store large amounts of fuel, causing a severe crisis and make the drivers lining up long lines in front of filling stations.
In turn , Khalil Al- zayan , director of public relations and media , said that the officials will take firm action against all exploiters and traders who store fuel to cause the crisis in the Palestinian street, calling on citizens not to exploit the citizens .
He asked all drivers to inform them in the case of exploitation of drivers and the raise of fuel price.
Al-zayan showed that the traffic safety patrols will continue and inspection to make sure not to store fuel .
