Haneyya deplores mortar attack on Yarmouk refugee camp in Damascus

Palestinian premier Ismail Haneyya strongly denounced the mortar attack on Al-Yarmouk refugee camp in Syria on Thursday which claimed the lives of 20 Palestinians and rendered more than 65 others wounded.

Following the Friday prayers in Al-Abbas Mosque in Gaza, Haneyya called for necessarily sparing the Palestinian refugee camps any conflicts taking place in the Syrian arena.

He stressed that the Palestinain people are guests in Syria waiting for the day when they can return to Palestine, adding that the Syrian blood is as much precious as the Palestinian blood and must be preserved.
