The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested five citizens in different districts of the West Bank on Wednesday, broke into other regions and summoned dozens of Palestinian youths.

The IOF arrested two citizens from the town of Beit Ummar near al-Khalil after storming their houses, and took them to an unknown destination.

Israeli special units also attacked another youth while heading to his work and confiscated his identity card and his work permit.

Violent clashes erupted in response to the arrests between angry youths and the occupation forces which fired live bullets in the air to disperse the demonstrators.

The IOF soldiers also arrested two citizens from the town of Kafr Ra'i in the south of Jenin after raiding their homes and another citizen from the city of Salfit.

Many regions in the West Bank have been raided by IOF soldiers who summoned dozens of youths to their headquarters, located inside the settlements and at the checkpoints and crossings, in an attempt to force them to work for the Israeli intelligence services.

Meanwhile, the Israeli forces launched today a broad campaign to confiscate the livestock of Bedouin citizens in Wadi Maleh in the Northern Jordan Valley and transported them to the occupation's camps.

The chairman of Wadi Maleh village council, Aref Daraghmeh, stated in a press release that the occupation has been targeting the Jordan Valley in order to displace its residents.
