Col. Ayyub Abu Sha'ar , Police chief of Rafah crossing , has announced that the Egyptian side told them officially to open the crossing in both directions on Tuesday morning.
Lt. Col.Abu Sha'ar, has confirmed in a brief statement published by the Interior electronic website on Monday that the crossing will be open in both directions for 3 days for humanitarian cases only.
The Ministry of Interior said on Tuesday that the travel will be for patients , owners of residences and foreign passports of those registered in the lists of 8, 9 and 11 August, calling the traveller to go into the Hall of Abu Yousef Al Najjar in Khan Younis southern Gaza Strip.
The Ministry called on citizens to follow its website during the next few hours to see the list of travelers through the Rafah crossing in particular.
Also, confirmed that it will not be allowed to travel of any cases other than the owners of residence , foreign passports , and patients enrolled in the lists of 09/08/11 August, and there is no travel for pilgrims, according to the conditions of the Egyptian side
