A specialist in prisoners affairs has said that Israel was holding 4550 Palestinian prisoners including 220 children in 17 prisons and detention centers.
Abdulnasser Farwana, a former prisoner, said in a report on Friday that the Israeli arrests did not stop not even for one day in lines of Palestinian citizens.
He said that the arrests are made at an average of ten detainees per day, adding that six Palestinian women were still held in Israeli custody.
He said that 17 Palestinian lawmakers were in Israeli detention among 250 administrative detainees.
Farwana also pointed to the presence of dozens of Arab prisoners especially from Egypt, Syria, and Jordan.
