Around 100 western solidarity activists, mostly French nationals, attempt to launch a new solidarity campaign with the Palestinian people within the few coming days.
Organizers of the campaign told a press conference in Paris on Monday that the solidarity activists would fly to Jordan next Sunday then head to Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank through the bridge linking it to Jordan.
They said that they want to distribute school supplies to Palestinian children before the start of the new scholastic year.
The solidarity activists from France, Spain, UK, and the US said that they primarily demand right to enter Palestine and to tour Palestinian territory at will.
The Israeli occupation authorities refused to allow those foreign activists access into Palestinian territory via Israeli airports twice in July 2011 and in April 2012.
