Palestinian police completed their preparations to receive the new academic year which will begin on the Gaza Strip early next week.
It is scheduled that policemen will deploy on the morning of the first day of the new academic year at junctions and in the main streets and near schools, universities and institutes; to achieve a state of security and stability for students.
Lieut. Col. Ayman Al-Batneji, police's spokesman, confirmed that the first day of the school year is witnessing widespread police and hard work of police operations.
Al-Batneji said: "In this day all police efforts are exerted to achieve a distinctive academic year and appropriate educational suitable circumstances for students."
Moreover, the governor of Gaza police Colonel Jamal Al-Deeb that each new school year is witnessing routine and emergency tasks for the Palestinian police.
Colonel Al-Deeb pointed out to a wide spread of traffic police and municipalities to deal with vendors and vehicles through schools and communities to protect students, especially students of primary and kindergarten.
