Gaza students lively receive the new academic year

All school students in the Gaza Strip have completed their preparations to return today Sunday 2/9 to school again after the end of the summer holiday, which last for three months.

Some students are waiting to return to school eagerly, while others feel anxious and nervous after they left writing and reading some time ago.

The student Khalil Mater,17, said that he was preparing to return to school a week ago, indicating that the psychological preparation to return to school is more important than the concrete preparations to buy books and stationery.

Mater showed that the summer vacation made him not to be obliged to waking up at a specific hour, noting that the return to school force him to organize his time.

Moreover, the student Mohammed Ali,15, said that his parents advised him to study hardly before the beginning of the school year, to prepare himself psychologically and to receive better this year than in previous years.

He explained that he finished  preparing his school bag which includes stationery to wake up early on Sunday morning.

Ali hopes that the current academic year pass successfully and the electricity became good in the Gaza Strip, so that students can get the highest grades.

Meanwhile, the Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Education in Gaza, Anwar Al-Buraawi said that his ministry had completed all preparations for the new academic year on Sunday, pointing out that various school buildings in various facilities and furniture from laboratories and canteens and drinking water were completed.
