A solidarity sit-in was staged in Manara Square on Tuesday at 5.30 pm in support of the striking prisoners and liberated detainees who were re-arrested.
The solidarity sit-in, called for by the National Campaign for the Defense of Liberated Prisoners who have been arrested, and the Supreme follow up committee for detainees and liberated prisoners' conditions, was attended by leaders of the political forces and a number of ministers, MPs and leaders of civil society organizations and the families of prisoners and liberated prisoners.
The campaign considered the participation in and attendance of the sit-in as a support for the issue of prisoners and a protest against Israeli arrests against liberated prisoners.
