Israeli occupation forces (IOF) blocked on Saturday Palestinian farmers from reaching their olive fields in Beit Ummar village to the north of Al-Khalil. Local sources said that IOF soldiers were deployed on mountaintops overlooking the village and at its entrance after citizens organized their weekly march against confiscation of their land. They said that the soldiers ordered back dozens of farmers and assaulted them and foreign solidarity activists who were accompanying them.
