Director of Inspection and Control Unit in the Ministry of Interior and National Security , Abu Hassan Al-Najjar, said that his unit is one of the units of the Ministry of Interior followed to its Minister directly, and composed according to the structural ministry in 2006 of two departments are the Department of Inspection and Control and the Department of follow-up, and fall powers unit Control and Internal Audit to make sure that business and management in the ministry going according to the law .
He explained that they are carrying out several tasks through the control and inspection unit, including standing on the technical and legal errors, administrative and financial in the various departments.
And make recommendations and observations that would address these errors and shortcomings in order to develop work in various departments, as well as to participate in the various committees and opinion and advice in the correspondence and the cases of the unit.
Al- Najjar expressed that the proposed plan in the new structure of the Ministry of the Interior, consists of several departments seek to organize the work of employees inside the ministry.
In statistical made by the unit shows that 708 complaint was received via an e-mail to the Ministry of Interior since the date 1/1/2012 - 30/9/2012 and the total number of complaints receiving 1066 complaints, while the total complaints that have been answered through the net for 854 equivalent to the proportion of 80.11% of the total complaints.
And complaints transferred to the competent authorities reached 212 complaints have been answered to approximately 60% of these complaints
