A senior Gulf delegation led by Sheikh Nasser Bin Hamad Bin Issa, the son of the Bahraini King, will arrive in Gaza by end of the week, Taher Al-Nunu, the government’s spokesman, said.
Al-Nunu said in a televised statement on Tuesday that the delegates would inaugurate a number of projects and schools in addition to distributing assistance.
The visit follows a similar one by the Emir of Qatar at the head of a senior delegation to Gaza during which the Emir pledged hundreds of millions of dollars for Gaza reconstruction projects.
