Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided an area near to Qarara town to the east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza at dawn Thursday, media sources reported.
They said that IOF soldiers mounting three armored vehicles and escorting three bulldozers advanced into the area amidst random firing.
The sources pointed out that army tanks fired smoke bombs to cover up for the incursion.
A Palestinian farmer was seriously injured on Wednesday afternoon in an Israeli reconnaissance plane raid to the east of Breij refugee camp in central Gaza after IOF troops damaged dozens of dunums of cultivated land in the same area.
