The Israeli occupation authority has blocked the travel of Fuad Al-Khafsh, the director of Ahrar center for prisoners’ studies and human rights, to Tunisia to attend a conference on Palestinian prisoners.

Khafsh said on Friday that the IOA detained him for a few hours at the Karama crossing while en route to Jordan on Thursday evening after confiscating his passport and telling him that he was banned from travel.

He explained that he was travelling to Tunisia in response to an official invitation to attend a conference meant to support Palestinians prisoners in the Tunisian capital on Saturday and Sunday.
