A Palestinian citizen died of an electric shock while working at a border tunnel in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, on Monday afternoon.
Medical sources reported that Montaser Mohammed al-Malahi, 20, from the city of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip arrived to Abu Yousef al-Najjar Hospital dead due to an electric shock in one of the tunnels in Rafah.
The Palestinian citizens have been always exposed to serious incidents during their work in the tunnels that have resulted in killing tens of them due to electric shocks, inhalation of toxic gases or falling from high places.
