Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior and National Security Mr. Kamel Abu Madi confirmed that the Ministry of Interior is still providing its services to all people in the Gaza Strip.
Abu Madi said in a statement: "the brutal Zionist enemy will not handicap us to provide services for our people, although the occupation destroyed the Interior Ministry's building (civil department) and the governmental buildings and the homes and property of our people."
Moreover, Engineer Osama Qasim, Director of General Department of Computer and Information Systems at the Ministry of Interior and National Security, confirmed that the damage of the interior ministry - the civil part is material.
Qasim said that the electronic damage is also material, whereas, we lost hundreds of computers and its accessories under the rubbles of the main building of the Interior Ministry, which was destroyed completely.
Eng. Qasim affirmed that the information of the ministry is in a safe place; also that all documents and transactions and data files of citizens and employees reserved electronically.
He explained that the files for the work of departments and directorates and units of the Ministry of the Interior have been archived electronically in safe places.
Qassem stressed that the work of the Ministry of Interior was not affected, and our people can get services from the Interior Ministry.
