Crews of Directorate of Civil Defense at Ministry of Interior and National Security have rescued 37 citizens during the past two weeks.
A statistics issued by the Department of Civil Defense Operations showed that 18 civilians were rescued during the last week of November, and 19 others in the first week of December.
The statistics also indicated that 39 injured and medical conditions were evacuated during the past two weeks.
It also explained that the crews transported the bodies of martyrs in the last week, in addition to transporting three deaths and providing the necessary treatment for three injuries.
In another context, the fire crews extinguished 44 fires during the mentioned period, and attributed the cause of fires to negligence or a short circuit and other causes as a result of Israeli bombing during the recent aggression.
It is worth mentioning that the civil defense crews worked valiantly during the Israeli recent aggression since the fourteenth of November on the Gaza Strip over the eight days.
