An Israeli court in Salem military camp extended the detention of Eman Bani Odeh, 22, from Tamon town in Tobas for more questioning.

The court turned down a request by her lawyer for releasing her on bail and decided that the Arab American University student should be held in custody until her interrogation was over as deemed by the prosecution.

Eman was taken from her home on 7/12/2010 at the hands of Israeli occupation forces (IOF) after storming and searching her home in Tamon. She was held in the Jalama detention center.

The IOF had arrested Eman’s brother Anas one month earlier. Eman’s trial was adjourned till 10/1/2013.
