The workgroup for Palestinians in Syria demanded the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to allow Palestinians fleeing the fighting in Syria to get Visas, and urged the neighboring Arab countries to support the humanitarian demands of the Palestinians in Syria.

The workgroup called on all the Arab countries, particularly Egypt and Jordan, in a statement on Wednesday, to receive humanitarian cases of the Palestinians refugees fleeing Syria.

It urged the Lebanese state to officially provide help for Palestinian refugees who had left the Syrian territories and arrived to Lebanon.

It also demanded all the relief agencies around the world to support the efforts of the countries that are receiving both Syrian and Palestinian refugees.

The group confirmed that "any Palestinian presence in any Arab country is temporary," and stressed on the Palestinians' adherence to their right of return, whatever the circumstances are.
