The wife of detained hunger striker Jafar Ezzudin has declared her insistence on maintaining her hunger strike, now in its 36th day, in solidarity with her husband who has been on hunger strike for 64 days.
She said, at the sit-in tent in Jenin pitched in solidarity with hunger strikers, that she would continue in her strike until the demands of her husband and his colleague Tarek Qadan for freedom and cancellation of their administrative detention are achieved.
“I will never retract my step regardless of the dangers,” she said, adding, “We will not remain hostage to occupation’s oppressive policies that turned our lives into a big prison … there should be an end to this oppression.”
