Independent MP Jamal Al-Khudari has called on the 12th Islamic summit scheduled to be held on Wednesday and Thursday to save occupied Jerusalem from Judaization.

Khudari, in a press release on Sunday, said that the holy city was in danger due to the escalating Israeli Judaization practices represented by confiscating land, expelling natives, and expanding settlements and building new ones.

He said that the Israeli occupation authority was isolating cities and villages by its racist, separation wall and was cutting off Jerusalem from the West Bank.

Khudari said that the Palestinian question and the issues of the wall, prisoners, settlement drive, and Gaza siege should top the agenda of the conference in addition to laying down a strategy to save the Palestinian people from its suffering under occupation.

The summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation is held under the slogan “The Islamic World … New Challenges and Development Opportunities” with the participation of 26 heads of state.
