The Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) released the mother of a Palestinian prisoner at a late night hour on Sunday after detaining her for hours along with his two children.
Local sources said that 53-year-old Fathiya Abdulqader, from Jenin, was taken after visiting her son Rami Khanfar in the Negev prison.
They said that Israeli occupation forces took her and the two little girls to a police station for questioning.
The sources said the mother was interrogated under security pretexts, which, they said, were only meant to harass relatives of prisoners.
Khanfar, from Seelat Al-Dhaher village in Jenin, is serving a 15-year sentence.
