Gaza-Interior Ministry
Media office in the Ministry of Interior and National Security has concluded on Monday ,in a cooperation with Palestinian Center for Development and Media Freedoms " Mada" a training course entitled " The Role of Police and Security to protect liberty of expression " .
The ceremony was attended by ministry spokesman Maj. Islam Shahwan ,Dr. Ahmed Hammad ,General Coordinator of the Centre , Mr. Karem Nashwan, legal adviser to the center ,and Mr. Hani Habib, a lecturer at Al-Aqsa University.
Shahwan thanked the center on such courses that create an atmosphere of cooperation between the Ministry of Interior and the Palestinian and international institutions.
He stressed the readiness of the Ministry of Interior for further cooperation within the ministry's plan for 2013 to reach the best performance for the security man and members of the Interior Ministry.
In turn, Hammad said during the closing session "that such courses come in the framework of cooperation with formal and informal institutions ", praising the cooperation of the Interior Ministry and its prominent role in the success of the session.
