Numbers of Palestinian political figures arrived in Cairo Wednesday night to meet with Egyptian leaders, a move that aims to discuss and execute the Palestinian reconciliation, which is brokered by Egypt.

The delegation encompasses 14 members of the reconciliation committees in the Gaza Strip, and it is headed by Ahmed Bahar, PLC Deputy Speaker, and Ayman Taha, a leader of Hamas movement.

Both, Hamas and Fatah, agreed on some broad lines that have to do with the Palestinian reconciliation such as activating the role of the Central Election Commission (CEC) in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, leading consultations to form a government, and holding elections.
