Israeli occupation forces (IOF) prevented schoolchildren in Wadi Bazik, Tobas province in the Jordan Valley, from heading to classes on Sunday.
Local sources said that IOF soldiers were seen deployed in the area and blocked movement of citizens at the pretext of launching maneuvers.
They said that the soldiers started military exercises since the early dawn hours using live ammunition threatening lives of citizens and their livestock.
