Interior Ministry and National Security declared on Sunday 12/5/2013 the end of the
" National Campaign of anti collaboration with enemy" , which was launched last March 12, which lasted for three months
The ministry said in a statement read by its spokesman Islam Shahwan during the conference of the campaign which was held today that the national campaign succeeded in achieving the full objectives since a number of collaborators gave themselves up getting benefits of guarantees announced at the beginning of the Campaign .
The Ministry revealed that the Internal Security Agency has arrested a number of spies during the campaign to assert that the ongoing security measures are in conjunction with the campaign .
The ministry appreciated the role of Palestinian resistance factions, dignitaries, writers, academics, media institutions and private local radio stations during the activities of Campaign .
Director of the Internal Security Agency Colonel Mohammed Lafi affirmed the success of purposes of the National Campaign
He explained that Security Agencies deal with the repentant collaborators l files with high specificity, in addition to ongoing education and awareness processes.
He stressed that the Ministry of Interior and National Security makes efforts to thwart the plans of the enemy and detect methods, noting that the ministry has developed a security plan six years ago to paralyze enemy information tools .
He noted that the Palestinian Security Services have achieved great success in countering the Zionist occupation despite the lack of resources ,the destruction of its headquarters , and the targeting of its members and officers .
