Bahar: IOA kidnaps MPs to isolate them from masses

Dr. Ahmed Bahar, the first deputy of the Palestinian legislative council, condemned on Wednesday the Israeli occupation authorities for re-arresting deported Jerusalemite MP Mohammed Abu Tir. Bahar charged that the IOA was trying to isolate the Palestinian MPs from their masses without any consideration to their immunity or human rights. He said that the IOA was always working for foiling the Palestinian democratic experience and to show their experience as a failure. Bahar urged the Arab, Islamic and international parliaments to take firm positions against the Israeli policy of kidnapping Palestinian lawmakers and to pressure the occupation government at all regional and international platforms to force it to respect the Palestinian parliamentary immunity and rights of prisoners in Israeli occupation jails.
