MOI authorizes 29 Associations to work in Gaza Strip

Ministry of Interior and National Security authorizes 29 Association to work in the Gaza Strip, including two foreign association .Number of associations registered in the Ministry of Interior of Gaza is 874 Association, including 809 local associations and 65 foreign associations since the beginning of year . According to a report issued by the General Directorate of Public Affairs and non-governmental organizations at Ministry of Interior, charities and NGO in the Gaza Strip are distributed as the following , 481 associations registered in Gaza, 123 associations in northern governorate , 100 associations registered in Khan Younis, 95 Associations in the Central governorate, and 75 association registered in Rafah . In this regard, he said a. Tharwat pick, Director General of the General Directorate of Public Affairs and non-governmental organizations , Interior Ministry authorizes associations which have clear goals and its members do not have sentences in Palestinian courts . He stressed civil society organizations play an important and influential role in the current Palestinian community today as they offer relief and development services to support the steadfastness of the Palestinian people . .
