Training Directorate organizes Session of IHL for Intelligence Officers

Training Directorate in Interior Ministry has organized on Wednesday a session of the international humanitarian law (IHL ) in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) for officers of Intelligence . The session has been held in Alsalam restaurant in Gaza with the participation of a number of police officers who work for the General Administration of General Intelligence . The session comes in the context of raising public awareness and developing interests of officers regarding role of international humanitarian law which is recognized by all states and regimes . Inspector General of General Directorate of training Colonel Yahya al-Shobaki stressed on importance of role of ICRC . He appreciated new partnership between ICRC and General Directorate of training . Colonel al-Shobaki urges officers who attend the course to respect IHL which represents a reference to all the contentious issues in the community.
