Interior Ministry denies attacking Egyptian Cultural Center

Interior Ministry denies rumors concerning attacking Egyptian Cultural Center by security services explaining it only recalled the chairman of the center due to a demand from General Prosecution to make investigation in Criminal cases .Director general of public affairs and non-governmental organizations in Interior Ministry Tharwat Albik says , " there is no place under the name of Egyptian Cultural Center or any place which represents Egyptian Community except the Egyptian embassy '' . He explains his ministry monitors work of NGOs according to law .He stresses in an exclusive press release , the ministry of interior has not given any authorization of construction to any Cultural Center which represents Egyptian Community .He pointed out persons who arrogate "figure of Egyptian Community are Palestinians who have obtained Egyptian Nationality after 25january revolution according to law of granting nationality to the children of Egyptian mothers " . Spokesman of Interior Ministry Islam Shahwan says that association was not authorized by interior ministry according to association laws and it did not represent Egyptian Community at all .He adds on his page on facebook , "According to telephone conversation with Egyptian Ambassador ,he affirmed that center does not represent Egyptian community at all '' .Shahwan declares recalling director of the Association at the request of general prosecution to investigate with him about some financial issues and complaints from some citizens referring that he was granted Egyptian nationality recently ".
