A Palestinian worker was hospitalized on Tuesday after a settler’s dog attacked him in Taku settlement near Al-Khader village, south of Bethlehem. Ahmed Salah, the coordinator of the popular committee against settlement in Al-Khader, said that the 22-year-old Mudhafar Da’du suffered multiple injuries as a result of the attack. He said that settlers deliberately unleashed their dog at the worker while fixing electricity problems in the settlement. Eyewitnesses said that the attack lasted for 15 minutes while the worker was trying to defend himself and other workers also tried to help but to no avail. They said that Israeli police arrived to the scene and took away the dog and carried the worker to hospital.
