IOF soldiers detain MP’s son

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) broke into the home of MP Hatem Qufaisha in Al-Khalil city at dawn Monday and detained his eldest son Anas. The MP’s wife said that the soldiers burst into their home at dawn and wreaked havoc in it in a violent search operation before taking away Anas, 19, to an unknown detention center. She said that the soldiers confiscated a number of personal computers from their home along with a mobile phone. She added that the soldiers also stormed the home of Hatem’s brother and took away a number of computers. IOF soldiers arrested the MP four times during his tenure the latest of which was on 4/2/2013 where he was held in administrative detention, without trial or charge. Hatem served 14 years in Israeli occupation jails en aggregate. The MP has five daughters and two sons.
