HRU Condemns Exiling Sheikh Bkeerat from Alaqssa Mosque

Human Rights Unit in Interior Ministry condemns Israeli decision of exiling the Head of Alaqsa Mosque Najeh Bkirat for six months .Sheikh Bkirat is also forbidden from approaching the gates of the mosque for security reasons . HRU reveals , Israeli Occupation attempts to forbid prayers and figures from entering the mosque so that settlers invade it daily and defile it . The Unit says , this is a racist measure since it bans Palestinians from entering and praying in Alaqssa mosque .
