Israeli navy forces detained two Palestinian fishermen off the coast of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, on Wednesday night.
Palestinian sources said that an Israeli gunboat intercepted a Palestinian fishing boat with two Palestinians of the same family on board.
They said that the Israeli gunboat towed the fishing boat with the two fishermen on board to the Israeli port of Ashdod.
Meanwhile, Israeli gunboats opened fire at Palestinian fishing boats off the coast of Gaza city and prevented fishermen from sailing.
