17 Palestinian female prisoners are currently held in Hasharon prison suffering very difficult detention and health conditions due to the Israeli deliberate medical negligence and ill-treatment.
According to Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS), Lena Jarboni, from Buttof village in the Green Line, suffers from acute cholecystitis but she only receives painkillers, while Nawal Saadi, from Jenin, suffers high blood pressure and severe back pain.
The Palestinian female prisoner Inam Hasanat suffers from migraine, while the female captive Ayat Mahfouz has lost sight in her right eye, and Nahil Abu Aisha suffers from rheumatism, the PPS statement noted.
