Gaza-Interior Ministry
A delegation of the Palestine Scholars Association included the Legislative Council member Dr . Abdul Rahman Al-Jamal , and Dr. Maher Al-Holi, has visited a Reform and Rehabilitation Center of the Ministry of Interior in Gaza .
The delegation was received by the General Director of Reform and Rehabilitation, Col. Atiya Mansour, director of public relations col. Omar Awad ,and a group of officers of the Directorate
Colonel Mansour welcomed the visiting delegation , praising the efforts in resolving many of the issues.
He stressed that the doors of the Directorate of reform and rehabilitation are open to all organizations and bodies for issues of inmates and help them to work according to the possibilities
The delegation briefed on the mechanism of action of the Directorate aiming to raise at work and dealing with inmates, he said
He pointed out that the Directorate has always sought to improve the living conditions of inmates through projects that have been offered by the Directorate for their stay in the centers to spend their sentence.
In turn, MP Abdul Rahman Al-Jamal praised the role of the Directorate in the rehabilitation of inmates and refines their behavior for the better
At the end of the visit, the delegation praised the efforts of reform and rehabilitation and urged them to exert more efforts to serve the community
