Gaza-Interior Ministry
Reform and Rehabilitation Center at the Interior Ministry has signed on Monday February 24, 2014 a cooperation agreement with Inmates' Families Association in the headquarter of Gaza Reform and Rehabilitation Center .
" The Agreement aims at taking care of Inmates' Families whose breadwinner is being arrested because of collaboration with Israeli enemy, " Ala'a Suror , Director of center, said.
He showed that this step came according to the directorate plan to protect and preserve the rights of inmates under the absence of breadwinner .
" The Reform Center seeking hard to increase the coherence of society to fail the occupation projects against our Palestinian people, pointing out that the implementation of the agreement will be in the next days , " Suror sdded .
The visited delegation included a number of association's activists headed by Mr. Myssara Al-Qishawi , the Chairman of the board.
Qishawi explained in a speech during the signing agreement that the project stems from the principle of social responsibility, and aims at providing psycho-social support for inmates' families.
He added: "We want to study the economic and social levels for these families in order to provide psychological and social support programs for the return of families to the community and to correct the social perspective towards them."
At the end of the meeting, Qishawi thanked the Director of the Center, appreciating the role of the Rehabilitation Center to raise the level of inmates and protection their families.
