MOI licenses for 61 foreign associations during the last 7 years

Seven years ago the ministry licensed for 61 foreign association and thus the number of associations increased to 78 foreign associations, A report issued by the foreign association committee – civil division said .

The manager of Qatar charity has praised the performance of the MOI team, noting that the control of the MOI on the organization is financial and administrative to straighten the direction and increase the efficiency. 

Mr. Hussny Al-Hagen ,the manager of the  foreign associations service, said to MOI website: classifying Gaza strip as a disastrous areas  as a result of  the  unjust siege and the continuing Zionist  wars  on Gaza strip led to targeting Gaza by foreign associations as a place to work and provide the international fund and having benefit from this fund for its main position in the  home country.

He added:" The marked increase in registration the foreign association and in its number to five times during the last seven years, as a result of  the sympathy of the international community with the Palestinian issue in general and with the Gaza Strip in particular, and the need of our people for such associations to decrease the suffer and to develop the Palestinian society in Gaza".

The MOI affirms that foreign associations is starting to work officially with the Palestinian government in Gaza after ( Al-Furqan and Al-Sejeel) wars, demanding them to check their financial and administrative situations and complete the procedures according to the Palestinian law.

Mr. Awny Abu Haloub, the manager of Qatar charity in Gaza ,said in the same context that: the MOI works perfectly and professionally ,and their staff supervised on the audit and inspection of the organization have along experience.

He added that: there is a joint cooperation between the organizations and the MOI affirming that there are no obstacles.

The manager of Qatar charity praised the work of the MOI staff ,pointing that MOI censorship on the organization is administrative and financial to direct and increase the efficiency.
