The Palestinian Naval Police across the Gaza strip warn the citizens against swimming after eight o'clock pm. In a press release, the naval police appeals to citizens for respect its instructions. The rescuers are deployed along the naval borders and there are signs which guide citizens to safely enjoy swimming.
"The Naval Police rescued 7 citizens from drowning and returned 34 lost children to their families last week," the commander of Naval Police ,Amjad Sarahan, said.
Three girls drowned last week when they were swimming in an isolated area where there are no rescuers and the swimming is forbidden in Beit lahya in Alssodaneyya region.
