Gaza banks re-open Wednesday

The Ministry of Interior and National Security announced the reopening of banks in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday morning after the stoppage of work since last Wednesday.
Iyad Al-Bozom ,the spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior, said "In the context of assessing the situation and after the announcement of the Staff Union in Gaza to give the government a deadline to resolve the crisis of salaries during a week and stop the protests and to maintain the interest of the public interest the police has been withdrawn from around the banks."
He pointed out that the spread of police came around the banks to prevent the worsening of clashes between employees and to protect the banks and public property and to maintain stability.
MOI spokesperson confirmed that that Ministry will continue to observe the situation and developments indicating that it will take all measures that will protect our people and property and to maintain the security.
