The major general and commander of Palestinian police in the Gaza Strip, Taysseer Albatsh, said during his tours on principal crossroads and markets that the police continues its efforts to protect security and order during the holy month of Ramadan.
He urged the police officers to be patient in dealing with citizens and offering services for them.
"I want to monitor the work of policemen on field in spite of pressure and postpone of salaries for more than two months,' the commander told the MOI's correspondent.
He said that there is a tangible development in performance of policemen.
