The Israeli occupation destroyed the Beit Hanoun Border crossing and all its facilities
The Border crossing has become unfit for work as it was bombed many times since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry of Interior told UNRWA and the ICRC about the condition of the border crossing.
Therefore, the Ministry of Interior established a new point adjacent to the destroyed one as international delegations, organizations and patients must use this crossing on a daily basis. Yet, that point was also destroyed and the life of the employees and citizens was endangered.
Accordingly, the work will stop due to the deliberate targeting by Israeli attacks.
The work will resume tomorrow from 12:00 pm to 14:00 pm.
The Ministry of the Interior hold the occupation responsible for the lives of the staff and passengers in Beit Hanoun, and call on international institutions to do their best to provide protection for workers in Beit Hanoun.
